Some tasks welcomed me in the morning. The customer wanted soonest order delivery while the suppliers wanted to delay their material supplies. Moreover, we will have a long weekend this week as there will be 2 public holidays. This will definitely influence the productivity of the production line.
Headache made me have an idea to flee to the theatre. I left the office at 16:00 and thought I could run for the 16:45 play, but traffic jam messed my plan. So, I decided to see the movie at 19:15. Ayat-Ayat Cinta or the Love Verses. Many people were queuing for the tickets. It’s booming. The producer claimed that this movie has been seen by more than 2.6 millions people. Wheww!! The profit must be very big hehehe….
Ayat-Ayat Cinta was adapted from a novel with the same title which was written by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Many people like the novel and have expected that the film would be as good as the novel. Some of them seemed to be disappointed with the film. They considered that the movie is not good as the novel. Well, reading a novel is different from seeing a movie, of course. Reading makes us have our own interpretation towards the written scenes presented by the writer. We can wander the setting and imagine the characters inside of the story. While movie presents the story visually that often our interpretation of the story we have imagined become messed up as the visualization of the scenes are different (some parts are even totally different) from our own imagination. As for this particular movie, some people think that it’s great, some others think that it’s just so-so, some perhaps give cynical opinions. Anyhow, personally I think it is better than the horror genre hehehe…And I love the soundtracks.

One phrase I will remember: “To love and to possess are two different things.”
