Today is the third Lebaran holiday. I went to Sarinah Thamrin Jakarta this morning. Mbak Husni invited me to join Jakarta Sepi III Street Photo Hunting before going to her house. As I didn’t go to my hometown during this holiday, I decided to join.
Arriving at Sarinah, there were already many participants. Before we started the photo hunting, we took our pics together. Then we strolled down Thamrin streets until Bundaran HI. It’s not too far. It’s my first time for joining photo hunting, especially street photos. I didn’t know what it’s exactly about so I just observed others. They took pics of bridge, vehicles, banner, rise buildings, even small of objects they found alongside the streets. Well, it was not as quiet as last year, they said.
And guess, finally I could pose in front of HI Circle. Hurray! My dream came true.
Mbak Husni and I spent the afternoon in a café near McDonald while she was waiting for her husband. Other friends came along, too. We had a chat and in the evening we decided to move to Pondak Indah Mall and chose Death by Chocolate Café. Yummy!
From there, I spent the night in Mbak Husni’s house :)
